DO

• Check for damage and fractures to the lead daily
• If your machine is fitted with a cord restraint, ALWAYS ensure it’s attached correctly
• ALWAYS grip the plug when pulling the lead out from the wall socket
• Wind up the lead from machine end in a hand over hand way to prevent the lead from twisting

DO NOT

• Do not use a damaged lead
• Do not tape a damaged lead (this is a fire and health and safety hazard)
• Do not try to stretch the lead past it's maximum range
• Do not pull the plug out by the lead
• Do not pull it heavily if it's jammed
• Do not wind up the lead from the wall end
• Do not wind up the lead over your elbow
